i've been totes into the necklaces at totokaelo lately, so i picked up some hexnuts from the hardware aisle, to make my own version.

jump ring (from a crafty store)

1. measure length of chain.  (i used 28", but it could be shorter or longer)

2. string on hexnuts.  (i used five, but there were eight in the package)

3. attach jump ring to close the chain.

so this is exactly the type of color that i've been so afraid of.  all out color blocktastic with no neutral jacket to hid behind.  and i totally get it now.  being punchy has its advantages.
