i was tagged by natalie of pocket of presh to answer her eight questions, so here it goes:

1. What movie best describes your style?

i like certain outfits from movies, but haven't ever fallen for an entire one.  so really bits and pieces from roman holiday, you've got mail, sabrina, etc.

2. Where do you find inspiration for your outfits?

other bloggers, wardrobe remix on flickr, passersby, strangers, friends, etc.  

3. How do you feel about thrift store shopping?

my sister is a pretty serious thrifter since she has a short stack (some people call them toddlers) who always seems to be growing out of clothes.  lately, i've been viewing it as a way to experiment without much financial commitment.  i don't ever take it very seriously--i never look through the whole store or even a whole rack.  my sister and i pull a lot of things to show to each other because they remind us of a person or something we used to own.  

4. What's the next item of clothing you really want to buy?

the perfect white summer dress.  

5. What's your favorite color to wear?

gray.

6. If you could shop in any city in the world, what city would you choose?

omihachiman!

7. Do you have an item of clothing from the past that you really regret wearing?

i had a pair of shoes in middle school that lit up.  yeah, i'm thinking that's a little bit old for that sort of thing.

8. Which is more important to you when shoe shopping, style or comfort?

style, but i end up wearing my flats more often.
