1. yes, mom, i am indeed wearing birkenstocks.  apparently they are cool-ish again and my feet are going to be extra comfortable all summer.  #everyonewins

2. somehow i had never tried on joe's jeans until recently.  why didn't anyone tell me that they have the approximate softness of a puffy cloud?  this pair is currently at the tailor getting hemmed to the perfect ankle length for summer.

3. my toes definitely need some fun nail polish.  it makes forward folds so much cheerier at yoga.

1. i really like how comfy this knit moto is, but it seems to look a little bit sloppy.  maybe i'm just used to more structured jackets.  or i should just not wear it with my baggy pants.

2. yup, the baggy dress pants are still going strong.  they're going to get their own remix post in no time at this rate!

3. i've now tried quite a few of my curly hair product combination on my short locks, and miss jessie is winning so far.

1. i wore this dress quite a bit last summer with a belt (like this) and i am definitely looking forward to easy dress+shoes combinations this summer.

2. i used to be really into wearing boots with dresses in the summer-ish months (like this).  and apparently i am returning to this.

3. i am really excited about the warmer temps, but i totally had some exposed ankles...and a winter hat for our walk out for wine+cheese on friday night.  i was totally that person.

[just two things]
1. i found these photos from march (when our alley was still an ice-skating pond) when i was cleaning out the memory card.  it sums up my winter weekend uniform pretty well.  sweatpants that are okay to wear outside, a big cardigan, and weather-inappropriate flats.

2. based on the weather this past winter, i definitely bought more sweaters than i usually do.  we live in a building with steam heat, so we have pretty much no control over the temperature.  it gets really cold, and then the radiators make a bunch of clanking noises and turn on, it gets really hot, and then it gets colder for the next four hours until they turn on again.  ugh.  at least i have a serious sweater collection for next winter!
