my four-wheel to two-wheel transition is complete.  meet my new lady friend, lucy.  she's a linus mixte 3 and the prettiest bike i came across on my bike shop tour.  

oh, and apparently i dress like a boy to go on bike rides.

here's my new dressing for work tactic: shapeless silk dress+blazer+flats.  i can ditch the jacket while i'm waiting for my train in a stuffy station, wander around the office making numerous cups of hot cocoa in my quiet flats, and make the low v neckline of this dress disappear under a giant scarf.

this awesome wall matched my dress exactly.  chameleons for the win.  

oh, and these sandals finally dropped into reasonably-priced territory, so i finally pulled the trigger, even though sandals season is drawing to a close.
