to studio. reading, drawing, listening to 8tracks, being cold. anyway, the boy gifted me this jacket two christmases ago and after getting passed over several times lately, it has finally made it's blog debut.
and yeah, that's another skirt as a scarf.
oh, you want to know how it's done? just put a piece of clothing that meant to go on feet first on head first. and then don't ever fix it. that's it.
(probs not such a good idea with tights or shoes)

I love the color of your blazer and you used a skirt as a scarf? How creative!
ReplyDeleteLots of people put tights on their head... They are just usually going to rob a liquor store or a bank right after they do it. :)
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know, that I enjoy following your blog. I find you quite inspiring and absolutely adorable. Great outfit, its wonderful that you've gotten creative with the scarf skirt deal. Love it!
ReplyDeleteToday I totally also wore a green jacket and a tight black skirt and knit grey tights. And a huge scarf. (Mine was not a skirt, unfortunately.)
ReplyDeleteYours looks cuter.
Okay, anonymous was funny. Can I claim to have been that person?
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt as scarf! I totally thought it was one of those infinity scarves. Love the color of the jacket.

Dotty may be done with winter, but I'm not done with Dotty's lovely winter looks. Always cozy and warm, but pretty and sophisticated at the same time. Great color palette on you.
ReplyDeleteYou are the queen of mixing neutrals and looking fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLove your skirt as scarf idea - and I can't believe you took that long to wear such a beautiful jacket!!
ReplyDeletei'm so jealous of your ability to pull off skirt as scarf!
ReplyDeleteHOW on earth did that jacket get passed up so much?! It's incredible! And you're way too creative - I never would've guessed that's legwear around your neck :)
ReplyDeleteAh! Skirt as a scarf is awesome!! I absolutely love that jacket, it's so comfy looking.

Hahaha - "don't ever fix it". Awesome! I'd never have known that that is a skirt!
ReplyDeleteI love the last three outfits. I am seriously considering buying a pair of those flat dessert boots. I keep wanting a low heeled version but it's impossible to find something. I especially love the velvet in this post. I have a purple blazer of my own and just wish I could wear it more of the year.
ReplyDeleteholy crap, i never would have guessed that was a skirt. you are too much clever for one girl. love love it:)
ReplyDeleteSo yes... I do joke sometimes. In all seriousness though, I do love the look that you tend to go with. I love the skirt/dress and tights look. I have been trying to get my gf to wear that look for years, but she pretty much refuses and goes with pants every day. Kind of blah...
ReplyDeleteOh! I absolutely love this and I have a velvet green trench coat from Zara so I am totally inspired by your color palette hear! Thanks!!! :)
ReplyDeleteoh, and I totally wear skirts as scarves all the time! Lol! It just works :)
ReplyDeletethis olive blazer is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThat green blazer looks so amazing! It's totally unexpected! I love it!
