to read a ridiculous amount about middle-class culture in kathmandu because i left the last seven chapters of the book until the day before the class, a meeting with my thesis advisors, and then i'll probably still be reading tonight.
and yeah, this is a post-valentine's anti-saturation outfit.

love your use of neutral colors! i also love how your striped shirt sleeves are longer than the blazer sleeves.
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of neutrals and textures! Very nice. I really need to get a gray blazer, pronto!
ReplyDeletemy gosh, how are you already on outfit 15?! I'm still on 7!! haha
ReplyDeletei love the play on greys in this outfit. especially your shoes-- i'm going through some serous show envy right about now.
I'm loving the desaturated grey color palette of this look!
ReplyDeleteMust say, that's a great shirt... as I'm wearing the same one today :) I love the combination of all the grays together
ReplyDeleteLoving the neutral color palette. Grays are so chic for mixing.
ReplyDeletea mess of neutrals is my favorite, especially nude and gray together. i love that this is appropriate for day wear, but chic enough for a night out. what a hit! love your blog, following!

I love the way you styled your belt! I cannot get enough of them lately.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous outfit, love the tights that you paired with it! AND those shoes are so, so gorg! xx veronika
ReplyDeleteshoes look great and go well with the skirt!I like the way you cut your photos in round shape! How on earth do you do that? Please give a hint!
ReplyDeleteCute! Love the mix of boy blazer, lacy skirt and striped top.
ReplyDeleteLast photo is adorable.
cute photos! i love how you dressed up the lace skirt :)
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of the leather and lace. Good luck finishing your reading!
ReplyDeleteI seem to keep pushing off my school readings as well. Good luck on them. Sometimes text books just aren't the same kind of reading. I like the combination of the blazer with the lace skirt. All of the colors really match well and bring together the whole ensemble. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outfit - espeicially that skirt with those shoes. Awesome look my friend!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog but so far I'm loving your outfits! Great inspiration for me!
ReplyDeleteI've been trolling the boy's rack at the local thrift store (kinda feeling like a creepo) in search of a blazer just like yours. Thus far the hunt has been fruitless and frustrating. But your outfit has renewed my vigor. I will succeed - once the shopping ban ends, of course! Thank you for the inspiration!!!!
ReplyDeleteLeaving the House in THIS?!?!
it's funny, when i bought this jacket there were like five other suits for tiny people there, but then i was at a different thrift store and there were none. good luck with your creepin'!
ReplyDeletei use adobe indesign cs4 to layout and downsize my photos for web use, but i feel like there have to be more user-friendly ways of creating crop circles (intentional pun). i did a quick googling, but can't find anything that's internet-based.
ReplyDeletehmmm.
nice to meet you, fellow neutrals-lover!
ReplyDeletehi! nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteI believe myself to be legitimately in love with this outfit. You've really rocked out that skirt in a way that I haven't seen anyone else wear it, and that's pretty amazing, given how many people (moi included) have some version of it. I love the desaturated color palate and the striped sleeves emerging from the blazer. AND I love that you saved 7 chapters of reading for so long. You're a girl after my own heart. And on that note, I'm off to read Cixous...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this outfit. Such gorgeous mixing of neutrals. You go girl!
ReplyDeleteCardigans and Cookie Dough
I simply love how you mixed multiple shades of grey - and that skirt is the cutest!
ReplyDeleteI love bright colors and never really rock neutrals, but you always make it look easy! I love this outfit especially that lace skirt! I should have bought it from Target..smh!
