1. i really hope that my office's casual fridays continue past the summer.  i'm starting to really like wearing jeans on fridays!
2. that darn orange clutch again!  yup.  it's started to accumulate all sorts of bandaids, receipts, and such so i must be using it a lot lately.
3. the ryan tees are back on the everlane site and i am contemplating another order to test them out and probably get this shirt in another color.

1. i really need to move stuff around in my closet more because this dress got moved to the far end of the hanging rod and got mixed in with my fancy dresses.
2. this crazy shiny j.crew knockoff necklace gets more compliments than any other necklace i own.  so yeah, it definitely makes a statement since everyone seems to notice it.
3. yup, i'm wearing my goggles in that photo up there.  every once in awhile my eyes want to day off from wearing contacts and i'm not one to argue since i make them stare at computer screens way too much.

young: this dress has a lattice pattern at the top which makes it pretty fun, but definitely in need of a layer to make it appropriate for work.  the loose fit and long(ish) length help tone it down too.

[three things]
1. my go-to earrings are usually super small studs (pearls, sparklies, clouds, triangles, etc.) but these silver spikes have been making a lot of appearances lately.  and dude, they were $2.80, so if/when i lose one it won't be a big deal.
2. this dress has a ginormous pocket (seen in this post with a sticker on it) so it's a bit of a shame when i cover it up with a vest.  but i wannnnnna layer!
3. my friday-mornings-only coffee policy has been spilling over into saturdays lately because i am still totally amused by paying for my coffee with my phone.  i'm like that kid that gets really excited about pressing the button on the elevator.  oh wait, i AM that kid!

1. for some reason, out of all the trendy/bright/patterned things i wear to work, this vest (and these spikey shoes) get the most snarky comments.  
2. this shirt is crazy bright, so layering a vest toned it down enough so i didn't feel like a neon sign all day.  
3. this is totes a watermelon color combination.  bam!

1. the boy was recently clearing out his closet, so i've acquired a new crop of slouchy soft things to add to my closet.  this sweater is going to get some serious wearage this fall!
2.  yup, layered necklaces once again.
3. i really like these loafers with black pants (see below) and so i busted them out for some shorts-wearing too.

1. i've gotten back into the habit of buying flowers with my groceries and it's such a small thing, but it makes our dining room table look so pretty all week.  this bunch came home from the farmers market with some michigan blackberries and wisconsin mozzarella.  oh midwest, you're so good to me.
2. lately i've been hopping onto the layered necklaces bandwagon.  why wear just one necklace when you can wear two?!?  it definitely makes for more fun combinations.
3. these shoes seem to match my skintone a little too well and i look barefoot sometimes when i wear them.  i either need to get tanner or the shoes need to get dirtier.
