dotty, summer layers, and shorts

[three things]
1. summer layers!  this outfit was just a shorts+tee combo until i added some patterned shoes, a vest, and a chunky necklace.
2. i think i've been wearing this vest a lot.  scratch that, i know i've been wearing this vest a lot!  sometimes when i get something new it takes me awhile to add it to the regular rotation.  the first year that i had this coat i barely wore it at all and then the next winter i busted it out every time it was above puffer temperatures!
3. i rarely wear shorts, but i'm always happy to have a few pairs still around for when the end of summer rolls around and it's just straight up time to wear shorts.  did that make any sense?  basically, i meant when i get sick of all my summer dresses and it's hot out.  okay, yup, there we go.
