i went through a phase last winter where i thrifted all sorts of tie-neck polyester blouses (others can be seen here and here). apparently they are not in very high demand since i easily added four to my closet for around two dollars each. i was easily swayed by the awesome pattern of this one and ignored the fact that it is intended for someone approximately twice my size. so, it either has to be tucked or layered at all times. anyway, i like to think this print was inspired by someone looking at the floor on new year's day and realizing that they shouldn't have bought so much confetti.
