i've started to notice a trend lately that i fall back on this combination of items quite a bit in the winter (yeah, still winter here) so this week i'm going to embrace this ensemble cast.
[previously on] the boots-tights-dress-jacke/tcardigan-necklace/scarf uniform
winter 2009 on the far left and then three versions from last winter
last winter in the two on the left and then two more versions from this winter
Wow, It's amazing how many beautiful dresses do you have!
ReplyDeleteAll of the outfits look different and cute!
Looking great there! I have to admit, this very much sounds like my own winter uniform, which consists of pretty much the same, except I wear skirts more. But luckily, I could ditch that already for spring! Yay! Hold out just a little longer, spring is coming :-)
ReplyDeleteRelatable Style
A uniform is the most useful thing one can have, particularly in the cold of winter. I like that not only do you know what you're comfortable in (enough to wear it day in, day out), but that you've amassed such a good collection of dresses and cardigans to support the look! I think this is pretty much my uniform, as well, though I usually do skirt and top instead of dress, and I'm working on the collection. But it's so effective that friends in my grad program call this The Martina whenever they wear it!
ReplyDeleteYou also like boots. :)
ReplyDeleteD'oh! You already said that. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong wih great staples! :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, when in the heck is winter going to end here!? Arg.
Hehe no worries, I think those are everyone's winter staples ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how that "uniform" didn't seem at all like one--it always looked fresh and different. I can't wait to start embracing a spring uniform myself!
ReplyDeleteWell, it is a good uniform at any rate. One I know pretty well myself. I think the last one (with that orangey dress i love so much) is my favorite.
ReplyDeletehaha! I love this. It's a super cute winter UNIFORM!
ReplyDeleteHey, at least you are wearing your dresses! I wear pants all the time and have to force myself to wear dresses. You look adorable in all these outfits!
ReplyDeleteAnd I know I shouldn't mention this but we had such little winter time in Houston that I barely got to wear my new knee-high boots from Christmas and I'm jealous that you got to wear yours so much.
So funny!
ReplyDeleteAnd we're on the same wavelength as I also have been going on about my winter uniform.
This would totally be my winter uniform as well, if I had as many dresses as you do. I plan on upping my collection like, 10 fold. Then, I shall be like you. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, but normal it's cold outside so dresses are a easy and cute option. At least each outfit was unique in it's own way. :)
ReplyDeleteThe outfit with the fur wrap has to be my favorite now!! :)
