i'm really excited about wearing the bejeezus out of these suede ankle boots this fall. they've got a perfect chunk of a heel and the toughness of boots without the tallness of the other boots in my closet. i've been thinking about getting a cousin pair of neutral ankle boots from aldo shoes and here are the top three contenders:
