and
i am officially on spring break!
i've got tons of thesis work, a little trip to chicago (that's right...same climatic zone), and cooking something involving artichokes planned.
yup, it's party time.
Love the sequins in the daytime with the blazer and scarf. Perfectly done!
ReplyDeletei love the color combinations in the first one! can't help but love the mustard and ketchup. i love how it all works :)
ReplyDeleteYou are the queen of earth tones, love your color palette in both outfits. Yay home stretch of the remix.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Chicago!
I have been so impressed by how versatile that killer sequin dress has proven in your 30x30 - you have been rocking the hell out of it, and I love how you've made such a super-glam cocktail dress seem like this perfectly effortless daytime piece.
ReplyDeleteAnd you have completely convinced me that sequined cocktail dresses are not sartorial indulgences, they are wardrobe staples! Basics even! I must have one!
the other emily
I love how you've been wearing that sequin dress. and the detail on that pink top is just exquisite.
ReplyDeletei love outfit 28! the look of the shirt tucked into the pants is fantastic. we're almost near the end! good luck with the last couple days.
ReplyDeletethanks, jessie! i'm pretty excited to dig back into the other half of my closet!
ReplyDeletei bought the sequin dress for a specific event, so i threw it into my thirty for thirty picks to make me wear it more. it's pretty funny when people realize that i'm totally sequin-ed out (usually corresponds with a bright light turning me into a human disco ball).
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are fantastic, and are you looking forward to going back to a full wardrobe after the 30 for 30?
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Chicago!
loving both outfits. the colors are gorgeous... I especially love the play of texture and color in the first outfit- there's something so perfect about the juxtaposition of the mustard coat and chunky boots with the glitzy sequin dress. Hope you enjoy a relaxing break!
ReplyDeleteahhh the sequin dress is back! love it!
ReplyDeleteThat mustard coat is so pretty! I can't get enough of mustard lately, hehe! And I love your desert boots!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your spring break, dear!
Both of these outfits are great. I especially enjoy the mustard jacket with the cranberry scarf (sounds like a sandwich!).
ReplyDeleteI love how well you wear that pink sequin dress! Not many people could wear that in as many ways as you do! And now I think I need a maroon colored scarf ASAP!
ReplyDeleteI really loved that sequin dress when you wore it to the blogger meet up. I really want it, in fact.
ReplyDeleteHowever, this pants, blazer, infinity scarf with pop of color combo is really on point.

That sequin dress is so cute and I can't believe Lauren Conrad makes such beautiful pieces. Of course I love that yellow jacket and both outfit 27 and 28 are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteohhh, I tried on that sequined dress the other weekend. I so want it. It is adorable paired with the mustard jacket.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the jumbo numbers! Always nice to find a blog with some good graphic design.
ReplyDeleteYou've just had such fantastic mixes of color lately! Everything is so vibrant and complimentary.
ReplyDeletei just visited your little corner of the interwebs and i definitely want to throw blog design compliments right back at you!
ReplyDeletei had been eying it for awhile and then pulled the trigger on a shopping trip to buy a baby gift (oops?)
ReplyDeleteone of my favorite sandwiches involves turkey and cranberry sauce! mmmm....
ReplyDeletepretty pictures! love them all! i'm a new follower! :-)
